"This in honored remembrance of our pioneer Corley ancestors who crossed the great waters to this land. To the Corleys who loaded their worldly goods on ox carts and wagon trains and endured the hardships as they ventured through the valleys of Virginia and over the mountains of Tennessee to points West and North. Those who settled in the Carolinas and throughout the South. To the memories of the Corleys whose blood stains the battle fields from the siege of Augusta and Ninety Six, in the 1780s, to Gettysburg and Cold Harbor in the 1860s. Our Corley ancestors have contributed greatly in the building of America giving us a proud and noble heritage."

Corleys, Call To Arms

Here are some of our famous cousins. I know it would be less work on me to post the un-famous Corleys, but what the heck!

FAMOUS CORLEYS

Of all that I have found about our CORLEYS this is the most amassing to me. My Corley ancestor here is ABNER CORLEY s/o JOHN, father of WILLIS, father of ELBERT, father of WILLIAM A., father of WILLIAM D., father of my father JAMES C. CORLEY. If you find your ancestor here you should make a copy of this, let your children read it and pass it down to theirs. It's real history witch all CORLEYS can be proud of.
