Here is a genealogy of my Mother, Ruby Johnson's
family tree beginning with her Grandmother, Minnie Tressis
Singley Johnson m. Clarence Erestus Johnson (See below).
Her line goes back to and through the Royal families of
England and Europe during the medieval era. Through
the Lines posted here you will find my ancestral grandparents
who were the Kings and Queens of England, France, Ireland
Scotland, Germany, Wales, Italy and others. Including many
distinguish figures of the history of that era.
This line has several connections to my father's Corley family
tree’s Scottish line that includes ancestral grandparents,
“Robert de Bruce 1 King, of Scots”, “William The Concord”
and “Charlemagne”.
I recommend that you find out more on these historic people
especially if they are related to you through this genealogy.
Just copy the name of the person and go the Google search site
and paste it in the search box. Theris abundance of info there.

"Longshanks"
King Edward I of England
Born: June 17, 1239
Crowned: Aug. 19, 1274
Died: July 7, 1307
Known as "Longshanks" for his extraordinary height,
Eldest son of Henry III. King Edward, King of England
(1272-1307) completed the conquest of Wales and
temporarily subdued Scotland. In 1254 he was made duke
of Gascony. In contrast to his father, Edward showed
masterfulness in the disputes with the English barons
following the governmental reforms instituted by the
Provisions of Oxford (1258). He supported Simon de
MONTFORT in 1259 but later changed sides. He fought
for the king at the Battle of Lewes (1264) and himself
defeated Montfort decisively at Evesham (1265),
restoring royal power. In 1271-72 he was on crusade
at Acre. During the years from 1272, when Edward
succeeded his father, to 1290 striking achievements
occurred. Edward conquered the Welsh principality of
Llywelyn ap Gruffydd in devastating campaigns in 1277
and 1282-83 and built massive castles to keep it secure.
After 1294 wars in Scotland and France dominated Edward's
reign. In 1297, Edward attacked France to assert his
rights, but the expedition was cut short by the rebellion
in Scotland of Sir William Wallace. At the same time the
English nobles rebelled, forcing Edward to grant
Parliament control over taxes. By a treaty (1303) with
PHILIP IV of France, hr retained Gascony. He failed,
but, to quell the risings of Wallace and Robert the Bruce
(later ROBERT I), and Scotland remained only half conquered
at his death. He was succeeded by his son Edward II.
The following is what I have found to be my Mother's
ancestral family line to King Edward I "Longshanks" King
of England. This is a compiled research KE1 researchers

Internet and my personal research. All the information
here has been established by two or more sources. It is

Brian Boru
King of Ireland
b c926, d 23.04.1014
Boru was born into a Munster family in about 940 A.D. and grew
up to be a brilliant warrior and tactition. In 968 he retook Cashel
from the Danes and restored it as the seat of the Kings of Munster.
On the death of his brother in 976 Boru became King of the
province and by 984 had gained supremacy over the whole of the
south of Ireland. In 1002, after a series of battles with Malachy
(who ruled the northern provinces from Tara), he gained control
of the whole country and was crowned 'Ard Ri' or High King of
Ireland. For the first time the country was united under one
leadership and from this it prospered with many of the war
damaged monasteries being repaired and extended. However in
1014 the Danes staged a rebellion in Dublin. Boru met the rebel
army on the shores of Clontarf only to be slain at the moment of
victory. The battle ended Viking hopes of ruling the country and
firmly established the supremacy of the Celtic High Kingship of
Ireland. Brian Boru has become a national hero who successfully
united his own people and defeated the foreign invaders.
His achievement earned him comparisons with another great
uniter of warring lands, the Holy Roman Emperor Charlemagne.
